This puzzle is pretty common - you get words like Cycle Lobs or something and the solution is “Cyclops”, and you keep on saying the first two words until you come up with the solution - cyclops.

I’m wondering what I can use to help preserve them, and keep the pieces from flaking off. I’ve tried the stuff you use to preserve puzzles, and it’s OK, but not great. Also any advice on type of glue to use so that the glue doesn’t show through the cutout would be great and what’s a good type of paper/board that take these types of glued pieces well.
